Account, notifications and privacy

Notifications, language and country, settings, signed-in devices and signing out everywhere, AI services, and deleting your account.

Everything about your account is in the Me tab.

Notifications

Vidmerce asks for permission the first time it’s useful, for example when a video takes a few minutes (“Get told when it’s ready?” › Notify me). In Me › Notifications you choose what it tells you about:

  • Daily picks: today’s top products from the radar, at 9:00.
  • Post updates: videos ready to finish, posts that went out or failed, and credits you earn.
  • Reminders: when it’s time to share a video by hand.

If notifications are turned off in your iPhone settings, the app says so and offers Open Settings. Without them, there’s no reminder for manual posts.

Language and country

The app follows your iPhone’s language. Me › Settings › Video language sets the language of your videos and your storefront (English or French). Country (United States or Canada) decides which stores and links you see first.

Other settings

  • Daily post cap: how many posts a day per platform, at least 2 hours apart.
  • “Made with Vidmerce” end card: the default for new videos.
  • AI services: turn outside AI services on or off. Quick videos work without them.
  • Edit profile: your name and the bio shown on your storefront.

Signed-in devices

Me › Signed-in devices lists where you’re signed in, with when each device was last used. Sign out one device and the others stay signed in. Sign out of all devices signs out every device, this iPhone included; your videos and credits stay. Sign out (This iPhone only) signs out just this iPhone.

Your email and brands

When you request a free sample, you choose an email address to share with that brand so it can arrange shipping. You can stop sharing it at any time (Stop sharing my email); the brand then no longer sees it in Vidmerce. Brands see your Vidmerce handle, not your email, when you ask for a discount code.

Delete your account

Me › Delete account, at the bottom. Your profile, storefront, affiliate tags, connected accounts, lists, product photos and videos are deleted, scheduled posts are cancelled, and unused credits are lost. Purchase records are kept for accounting.

Apple doesn’t cancel App Store subscriptions when you delete your account. If you subscribed in the app, cancel it first in Settings › your name › Subscriptions, so you aren’t charged again.

Your privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. For a copy of your information, a correction, deletion or withdrawing a consent, write to our privacy officer at lukeliu@vanillapha.com.
