Videos are paid for with credits, and the Studio always shows the price before you generate. A quick video costs 40 credits and a standard video 100; longer videos and AI extras cost more. Credits have no cash value.
Your balance
Tap the credits bar at the top of Today or Products. The Credits sheet shows each kind of credit:
- Subscription: included with Creator and Pro. They reset every month.
- Trial: from a free trial, for quick and standard videos.
- Reward: from inviting a friend, the end card or a posting streak. They expire 90 days after each reward.
- Top-up: from credit packs. They never expire.
- Free: the 200 one-time welcome credits.
Credits are used in this order: subscription, then free-trial, then reward (the soonest to expire first), then top-up, then free. Free and trial credits pay for quick and standard videos; one-click videos, AI scenes and AI presenters use subscription, reward or top-up credits. A video made with any free credits carries a small watermark.
Me › Plan & credits › Credit history lists every grant, purchase, video and refund.
Plans, packs and the trial
Get more credits (or See plans) opens the plans: Creator and Pro, monthly or yearly, and one-time credit packs. Prices are in US dollars on the Pricing page; the App Store shows your local price before you pay. In the app, you can try Creator free for 3 days when the App Store offers it to your Apple ID; the trial credits come once per iPhone, and your monthly credits arrive with the first paid month.
Invite a friend (in Me) shares your referral code. When a friend subscribes, you both get 300 credits.
When a video fails
If a video can’t be finished or an AI extra fails, the credits go back to your balance automatically, except for AI work that was already delivered (finished AI scenes, presenter clips or one-click clips). A post that doesn’t go out doesn’t cost anything extra, and X post charges come back when an X post fails.
Refunds for purchases
Purchases made in the app are billed by Apple. To ask for a refund, use Apple’s Report a Problem page: https://reportaproblem.apple.com. If a purchase is refunded, the credits it gave you are removed, as far as they’re still unused. Purchases made on our website (United States only, when offered) are processed by Stripe: write to support@vidmerce.app about those.
Change or cancel a subscription
- Bought in the app: Me › Plan & credits › Manage subscription, or on your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Apple handles these; we can’t cancel them for you.
- Bought on our website: use Manage subscription on our checkout page, which opens Stripe’s customer portal, or write to us.
- Restore purchases (on the plans screen) brings back a subscription on a new iPhone.
A subscription stays active until the end of the period you paid for. More details: Help and support.
