Vidmerce can post approved videos to the accounts you connect. Where a platform isn’t connected, or doesn’t allow posting from apps, you get a manual share instead.
Connect an account
- Go to Me › Social accounts and tap Connect next to a platform.
- Sign in on the platform’s own page and allow Vidmerce.
- Back in Vidmerce, confirm: “Connect @yourname (TikTok) to your Vidmerce account?” Make sure it’s your account.
Each account then shows Connected, Needs reconnecting or Not connected. You can Disconnect any time; Vidmerce then stops posting there.
Platform by platform
- TikTok: videos go to your TikTok inbox, and you finish each post in TikTok. Coming soon
- Instagram: needs an Instagram professional account linked to a Facebook Page. Coming soon
- Facebook: posts Reels to your Facebook Page, with an optional Page Story. Coming soon
- YouTube Shorts: until Vidmerce’s YouTube review is done, YouTube keeps them private. Coming soon
- Pinterest: video pins that link to your product, on the board you choose. Video pins may need a Pinterest business account. Coming soon
- Threads. Coming soon
- Bluesky: connects with an app password, never your main password. Bluesky allows 25 videos a day.
- X: each post costs 80 credits with your product link, 10 without. Coming soon
- Snapchat: no account to connect. Send to Snapchat opens Snapchat with your video; you post it to Spotlight there. Coming soon
A platform marked Coming soon (“Auto-post coming soon”) can still be used as a manual share.
When posts go out
Posts are spaced out: by default at most 3 posts a day per platform, at least 2 hours apart. You can allow up to 5 a day in Me › Settings › Daily post cap. Upload helpers don’t count toward the limit.
For a manual share, the app sends a reminder at post time (if notifications are on). Open the video and tap Share now: the video comes with the caption, hashtags and disclosure. For TikTok, Open TikTok takes you to your inbox to finish the post.
When a post doesn’t go out
The video shows “A post didn’t go out · try again”. Open it and choose:
- Try posting again, or Post automatically again after you reconnect the account.
- Share it yourself, with the caption, hashtags and disclosure.
Posting to X again costs credits when it goes out. After 5 tries, share it yourself. A failed post doesn’t remake the video, so it costs nothing extra.
Reconnecting
Platforms sometimes ask you to sign in again. The app then says “Reconnect TikTok to keep auto-posting” (or the platform concerned). Until you do, posts to that account become manual shares. Tap Reconnect in Me › Social accounts.
